“the fountain of youth”, and maintaining a good skincare regime is a great starting point. Although, skincare is important in generating a healthy fresh exterior there are also other factors that plays an even greater role, such as lifestyle, genetics, and eating habits. I strongly believe if you keep your lifestyle and eating habits in check, you can pretty much cheat genetics. In the past, my daily facial routine use to involve a cleanser, toner, serum, eye cream, and moisturizer. Nowadays, I’ve narrowed the process down to 2-3 steps and also try to select products that are less processed, which can normally be found in WholeFoods or the health food stores. However, no matter where you shop you should always read the label/ingredients.

Although, my skincare involves a cleanser, toner, and cream; I still like to keep a few extra beauty essentials around for those rough days or breakout/blemish moments.
MY BEAUTY ESSENTIALS: 1 Cotton Pads-Muji (non-bleached) 2 Vaseline 3 Suki Face Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser (currently my favourite cleanser) 4 Thayers Witch Hazel (can’t live without, and most natural brand of witch hazel) 5 Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal Extract Toner 6 Aloe Vera-Skin Gel (great to have around and would sometimes use this over a face cream 7 Face Cream (it varies, depending on the season) 8 Spot Treatment-Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil (amazing when I have blemishes)

I am all prepped and ready to get my “beauty sleep on”. Nighty Night!
